The next bounty Stranger took was the one on Meagly McGraw, who has been making trouble at the local Opple Farm. Stranger travels through the sewers to the shipwreck and fights Jo' Mamma and her outlaws head on. Next Stranger takes on Jo' Mamma, who is hiding in an old shipwreck past the town's sewers. Stranger travels to a nearby Grubb temple and shows Eugene's captors who's boss. Stranger ends up in the town of Buzzarton, where he visits the local bounty office to turn in Boilz and takes on the bounty (actually a rescue mission) for Eugene Ius, a local Clakker who was kidnapped by outlaws. However the town has been destroyed by Boilz and his gang throughout the battle and thus the Stranger moves on to the next town to get more Moolah. Stranger and Boilz duke it out with Stranger eventually bagging Boilz in the end. At this time Stranger learns that Boilz Booty is coming to town to rescue his brother Blisterz. The Doc then tells Stranger that his operation will cost a total of 20,000 Moolah due to the extreme complexity of the surgery. Stranger enters his office to ask about his surgery. When Stranger gets back to town he learns the Doc is back in the office. He fights his way into the facility and takes The Duke down and collects the bounty. After bagging Floyd the Stranger takes on the Looten Duke who is hiding out in the town's water facility. Stranger beats down Floyd's outlaw henchmen and bags Floyd. His first bounty is Filthy Hands Floyd, an Outlaw who was ambushing the convoys which brought supplies into town. Stranger decides to take up some bounties to pass the time. Stranger, who is desperately in need of a mysterious operation (Which is later revealed to be surgery for the removal of his back legs), goes to the local doc's office, to find that Doc isn't in town. Stranger brings him back to the Clakker town of Gizzard Gulch after fighting his men to cash in on the bounty. Blisterz continues to chase him through the forest, eventually getting bountied after falling into a fuzzle trap Stranger set up earlier. They sniff the air, picking up a familiar scent, when Blisterz Booty bursts through and shoots at the Stranger as he passes through them. They are disappointed, having only caught a small fish for food. The Stranger, a mysterious bounty hunter, is taking some animals to use for live ammo whilst some of the local Grubbs are fishing nearby. #Oddworld strangers wrath hd gameplay how toIf there's one game that shows how to do Vita ports right, it's Stranger's Wrath HD.The game begins by showing an opening scene set within the Grubb Graveyard. Just Add Water has made sure the game was finally tuned to the Vita capabilities, and has done so in a way that is intuitive rather than intrusive. Even with the HD make up, the title hasn't lost it's campy charm, and proves to still be a compelling title nearly six years after its release. In 2012, Stranger's Wrath HD still proves to be an engrossing title, with a light-hearted and well-paced story keeping the gamer pressing forward. Thankfully, though Stanger's Wrath can prove to be quite difficult, a quick save option lowers the difficulty from "frustrating" to "challenging." Being able to save during the middle of a boss fight proved quite useful, as Stranger will automatically continue from the last save, not the last checkpoint. Each boss is different than the last, requiring the player to mixup strategies and ammo types in order to win. The game itself is quite challenging, especially during boss fights. The interface for both the bounty and general stores is once again controlled by the Vita's touch screen, and just like with the gameplay it's easy and quick to use. There is also a General Store, wherein the player can re-stock on ammo and purchase upgrades. Whenever the player enters a new town, it's a safe bet that the Bounty Store should be the first stop. In terms of gameplay, much of Stranger's Wrath HD revolves around capturing bounties, with more money awarded for capturing outlaws alive than dead. Stranger is an easy character to resonate with, and the world itself lives up to the series' namesake, as players will visit towns inhabited by chickens and fight a main villain who has more in common with cephalopods than humans. The game retains its spaghetti western qualities and crude humor throughout, making Stranger's Wrath HD just as funny as it is engrossing. Still, the game looks good: characters models have been improved and the animated ammo types all gleam with charm. In terms of graphics, players shouldn't expect much, as this is a remake of a 2005 Xbox title.
